Eagles' Wings Scores!
On August 1, 2007 the Nick's Kids Fund held a Charity Luncheon at The Zone in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Nick and Terry Saban and the Nick's Kids Fund distributed checks to 77 local charities.
Eagles' Wings was chosen to receive a $1,000 check from the Sabans.  We are most appreciative and ROLL TIDE!

Eagles' Wings has Moved
On August 1, 2007 Eagles' Wings leased an office with warehouse space  at 2205 9th Avenue in Northport.  The move was necessary so we could begin the process of implementing a pilot vocational program.  While investigating the possibility of obtaining the necessary grant money for our program, we found one question grant makers ask is, "How many individuals are you serving at this time and how  long has your program been in operation?"

With the new office and work space, we can begin a program and will then be able to answer those questions in a positive way.  We will need to make some renovations to the warehouse, i.e., handicapped accessible restrooms and aesthetic improvements.  Of course, all this takes time and money.  Our hope is to begin the program in early Spring 2008.  We will keep you posted on our progress.

Cookbook Being Planned
We are in the process of gathering recipes for our fundraising cookbook.  Please send your recipes to Sandy Parrish, 8000 52nd Street, Northport, Alabama 35473.
