What are “SPECIAL” Needs?

What are “SPECIAL” Needs?

When people ask me about Eagles’ Wings, my typical response is “Eagles’ Wings is a day program for individuals with special needs”.  I came upon a video that made me re-think my answer.  I would like to share it with you.

This so true, they are very special individuals that need to be active, need to be heard, need to be treated with dignity and respect. They you to recognize their strengths , just as each of us need.

They need you to look beyond their disability and see their abilities. They have a unmatchlesss love and joy that they want to share.
Next time you meet a special individual look beyond the disability. See the ability.

The word “need” is needed in the first paragraph.
They “need” you to recognize their strengths , just as each of us need.
